Terrazzo is another popular direction in the creation of architectural concrete. This technique was invented in the 15th century by Venetian builders who couldn't afford to use solid marble, so they mixed marble chips with clay and then polished it to create a decorative, hard-wearing surface.

In this two-day course, you will learn about the composition of concrete that is best suited for terrazzo technique, how to work with it when creating interior objects, countertops and sinks, about equipment and tools that provide convenience and consistent quality of polished terrazzo concrete, about the possibilities of design, how concrete products are finished and how to protect and maximize their service life. 

The practical part includes a demonstration of the process of making a vase and a coffee table from terrazzo concrete using available raw materials.
